June 31st, 2008
High school students and teachers working on summer projects in Chemistry will be visit USIF to learn how electron microscopy is used in Chemistry.

July 11th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th and 30th, 2008
The Boys and Girls Club (guide: Raytheon employee) will visit USIF for a tour on Electron Microscopy.

June 23, 2008
USIF will be conduction a forensics module with the ARLDN for the FORENSICS: The SCIENCE Detectives program.

Students from Cragin Elementary School will be visiting USIF for a morning of fun science demonstrations.

Green Fields Country Day School teacher, Andrew Israel, will be taking students studying physics and chemistry to visit with USIF, Drs. Nofziger and McCollough at the College of Optical Sciences, the Armstrong Group at the Dept. of Chemistry and a visit to Materials Science and Engineering for a day of science and engineering exposure at the U of A.

Kristina Dorame of USIF and other students at MSE will be hosting Chaparral Students to give a general tour of The University of Arizona and USIF. They will demo scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Al melt + pour, Ideal gas law, ductile to brittle transition among other topics related to materials science.
